Originally opened as Gambino's Seafood Restaurant in 1982 by Ralph Gambino and Guy and Betty Ranatza. The business was modeled after Gambino's Seafood Restaurant in Slidell, established in 1976, owned and operated by Yevonne Ranatza Gambino and Ralph Gambino. In 1987 Gambino's of Bogalusa became Bino's Seafood Restaurant with the absence of a "Gambino" and the addition of some now "famous" dishes to be included on the menu. The "Bino's Famous Eggplant" was first introduced and became an immediate sensation as one of the "House Specialties."
In 1991 with the retirement of the Ranatzas, family members Tony and Lennice Gambino (son and daughter-in-law to Ralph and nephew to Guy) began operating Bino's. With the addition of many more House Specialties created by Tony the "Family Tradition" continues. Tony and Lennice thank you for your patronage and are proud to server the people of Bogalusa, the citizens of Washington Parish and the surrounding area.
