Bino's Seafood Restaurant

Originally opened as Gambino's Seafood Restaurant in 1982 by Ralph Gambino and Guy and Betty Ranatza. The business was modeled after Gambino's Seafood Restaurant in Slidell, established in 1976, owned and operated by Yevonne Ranatza Gambino and Ralph Gambino.

In 1987 Gambino's of Bogalusa became Bino's Seafood Restaurant with the absence of a "Gambino" and the addition of some now "famous" dishes to be included on the menu. The "Bino's Famous Eggplant" was first introduced and became an immediate sensation as one of the "House Specialties."

In 1991 with the retirement of the Ranatzas, family members Tony and Lennice Gambino (son and daughter-in-law to Ralph and nephew to Guy) began operating Bino's. With the addition of many more House Specialties created by Tony the "Family Tradition" continued. For 30 years, Tony and Lennice enjoyed every minute of their time in Bino's, providing great food and fantastic service to all of their customers and the community.  After much prayer, the Gambinos decided to sell their treasure and make themselves available for their family.  What a blessing it would be that the "Bino Family" and Bogalusa community would welcome newcomer, Michael Lightfoot! Mike has embraced the staff, the customers, and this Bogalusa community and continues the "Traditions of Bino"s.  He and the existing Bino staff (which includes Lennice and on occasion, Tony) continue to provide impeccable service, excellent foods with consistent quality and flavors! Mike thanks everyone for their continued patronage and is proud to serve the people of Bogalusa, the citizens of Washington Parish and the surrounding area.  Come join us and be a part of our "Family Traditions" !
